At the heart of any vibrant and healthy community are strong and healthy families. Characteristics of healthy families include time together, affirmation, effective communication and values and convictions. To see more on this, click here. We strive to create an environment that promotes the value of the family and its individuals. From birth through life stages, it is our belief that a foundation in Christ is essential for spiritual, emotional, moral and relational health. Below describes some of the offerings we provide to strengthen the family.
Jesus' Rangers Camp (J.R. Camp) is an original creation of our Sunday Kids' Ministry leader, Heather Lundberg. Her great idea is engaging kids, ages 3 - 5th grade, with live skits and strong Bible lessons in a year long curriculum through a camp like atmosphere. The teachers look like park rangers, the classrooms have tents and trees. Heather and her team help kids learn about God and Bible truth through this fun-filled environment. Sunday mornings start with adults and kids singing together in the worship center at 10 am. Kids are then sent off with leaders to go downstairs for the JR Camp experience. They will see the skit and then divide into age groups for the lesson. Parents then pick them up after the service. Nursery care is available for both JR Camp and AWANA.

Legacy Family Events are equipping learning environments coming alongside of parents, children and teens in providing Bible based opportunities for strengthening the family. Tapping into the Right Now Media resources, AWANA, and other spiritual growth resources, we believe that helping the family become an oasis of hope, a contagion of joy, and a salve of love, creates healthy neighborhoods and communities. Our Legacy dinners are on Wednesday evenings, 5pm - 5:54. Suggested donation is $2/person with a maximum for a family of $10.
AWANA is the way we engage children in life-long spiritual growth as followers of Jesus Christ.Kids of all ages enjoy the energetic games and activities as well as Bible based lessons and small group time with friends. AWANA involves many adult leaders who are directly impacting kids lives with truth from the Bible, the kindness of friendship and the example of persons living a life of faith in God. And everyone has a ton of fun!
We had a great kick-off to Awana with 38 kids attending. We still have room for more kids so don't hesitate to sign up. There will be a registration fee of $30 per child. Please click here for a registration form and e-mail it back to firstname.lastname@example.org.

The primary focus of the youth ministry is ‘Loving God and loving each other”. We want to be closer to God and closer to each other. We are simply trying to be a healthy authentic group of Christ followers, an open and accepting community, and a supportive family. We learn how the Bible applies to our lives in meaningful ways and how a relationship with God changes us from the inside out. We want to learn, grow and impact our friends, community and the world.
