Victor Rodriguez, Lead Pastor, and his wife Cindy have three married sons, and five grandchildren. Cindy is an R.N. and works as Director of Quality at a local hospital. Vic enjoys reading, boating, the outdoors, M’s baseball, and a wide variety of music. Lead pastor here since 1990, he graduated from Seattle Pacific University, Fuller Theological Seminary and Western Seminary (D.Min.). Vic serves on the Housing Hope North County Board of Directors and volunteers as a police and fire chaplain for the City of Marysville.
Harv VanderGriend, Pastor of Student Ministries, and his wife Mari have three sons. Mari is a surgical R.N. Harv enjoys having fun, reading, woodworking, riding the quad and motorcycle, listening to and playing music, yard work, and snowboarding. Harv is a graduate of Northwest University. He leads our ministry in youth, young adults, and contemporary worship teams, in addition to the Auto Ministry. Harv is the coordinator for the Conference Youth Workers Team and is a member of the National Youth Pastors’ Council.
Greg Kanehen, Pastor of Spiritual Development & Outreach, and his wife Sharon have three adult children (two sons and a daughter) with the oldest son being married. Sharon is an elementary school teacher. Along with reading and outdoor activities Greg enjoys woodworking, photography and jazz music. He oversees Spiritual Development and Outreach Ministries. Greg has been a high school teacher and sports coach, Whatcom County Support Officer (Law, Fire, EMS, Chaplain) and is a grad of Biola University and Fuller Theological Seminary. He volunteers as the Chaplain Coordinator for Marysville Police & Fire Departments, facilitates the Marysville Pastors Organization, and serves on the Citizens’ Planning Committee for the Marysville School District.
